The high for today is 4 below. With the cold and the 5 inches of snow we got yesterday the last thing I want to do is go traipsing through it, but work has to be done. 🙂 I layer up as much as I can and promise myself a warm London Fog when I get home.
There’s nothing like being really cold and drinking something that warms you from the inside out. Like whisky. (just kidding Dad. sort of). or a London Fog.
Earl Grey tea with milk and honey. Yes please.
Here is my beautiful Earl Grey.
It does taste better if you drink it from a tea cup.
I warmed my milk on the stove.
If you don’t have loose leaf tea just put a bag in.
Pour in about a half a cup of steaming water. Let it sit for a few minutes to steep.
Add in honey to your liking. I like about a tablespoon.
Creamy and warm. It’s like a hug really.
- 1 T or 1 bag of Earl Grey tea
- ½ cup of boiling water
- ½ cup or so of warmed milk
- 1 T honey
- Steep the tea in the hot water for 2-5 minutes.
- Add in the honey and milk.
